Pelzer Golf Supplies Signs on as “PNWPGA Majors Sponsor” of Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational
Tumwater, Wash. – Pelzer Golf Supplies, a stalwart in the golf industry since its establishment in 1982 by Fred Pelzer, proudly announces its latest endeavor as a PNWPGA Majors Sponsor for the renowned Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational. This sponsorship marks a significant addition to the company’s existing support for top-tier golf events, including the Pelzer Golf Oregon Open Invitational, Pelzer Golf Northwest Open Invitational, and the Hudson Cup Matches.
Fred Pelzer’s vision, when founding Pelzer Golf Supplies over four decades ago, was to assist golf courses in maintaining top-notch supplies. Craig Pelzer, now at the helm of the family-owned business, continues the legacy of commitment to the golfing community.
Reflecting on the longstanding relationship with the Pacific Northwest PGA, Craig Pelzer fondly recalls, “If memory serves me, I believe Dad started sponsoring the first event in 1983.” The initial sponsorship was for the Northwest Assistants’ Championship, now known as the Washington Chapter PGA Assistants’ Championship, held at Longview Country Club.
Pelzer Golf Supplies significantly expanded its sponsorship portfolio in 2021 by acquiring the title sponsorship of the Pelzer Golf Oregon Open Invitational. This commitment continued in 2023, with the company securing the title sponsorship for the Northwest Open Invitational and the presenting sponsorship for the Hudson Cup Matches.
In 2024, Pelzer Golf Supplies solidifies its support for premier golf events by becoming a PNWPGA Majors Sponsor for the esteemed Muckleshoot Casino Washington Open Invitational.

This championship has seen legendary golfers etch their names into history, with Chuck Congdon, Al Mengert, Bud Ward, Bob Duden, Don Bies, Jeff Coston, Rick Acton, and Fred Couples among the illustrious champions. This year’s event takes place May 20-22, 2024 at Meridian Valley Country Club in Kent, WA.
