Internships: How Mentoring Young Professionals Can Drive Your Bottom Line

Join us for a 60-minute webinar presented by Director Cole Mize and Internship Coordinator Luke Nickodemus. The PGA Golf Management Internship Program allows students to gain valuable employment experience while being an important part of a golf facility’s operations team. PGA students bring with them industry knowledge gained through PGA education and prior experiences, as well as their passion for golf. These students are in very high demand, with over 500 job opportunities being submitted to the University of Idaho’s PGA Program each year. Topics include:

  • How to be an attractive internship location
    • What we get for internship requests
    • What student are getting paid
  • What a modern PGA mentor looks like to current students
  • Setting up your assistants and young professionals for success
  • Q&A
    • Is there some aspect of the golf industry we can better prepare students for?

This webinar will be held via Google Meet. Receive 1 PGA Required MSR / 1 AMP Education Credit for attending.
