Swingle Wins PNW PGA Senior Players’ Championship

Champion Mike Swingle

Amateur Mike Swingle of Aldarra Golf Club won the PNW PGA Senior Players’ Championship at Wine Valley GC over a strong field of 133 PNW PGA Professionals and amateurs.

PGA Professional Tony Robydek of Meadow Park GC and PGA Professional Mark Knowles of McCormick Woods GC finished in second place.

The team four-ball competition finished in a tie between the team of PGA Professional Billy Bomar of Prairie Falls GC and Mike Kerns of Riverbend GC, and the team of PGA Professional Scott Larsen of Larz Golf and Brad Karns of Columbia Edgewater CC.

The tournament format included individual professional, individual amateur, and team four-ball competitions. The team four-ball competition is based on gross scores only.
