Alaska Folds of Honor Championship – Tournament Results

The Alaska Folds of Honor Championship supported by Budweiser took place Saturday, July 10 at Moose Run GC – Creek Course.  We had 16 teams, 64 players, that participated in a scramble competition and helped raise important funds for the Folds of Honor.

Our event raised $10,000 PLUS the incredible team at K&L led by Wes Kelso also added $5,000 to bring up the total to $15,000!

Folds of Honor is a 501 (C)(3) charitable foundation supporting scholarships and assistance to the spouses and children of those killed or disabled in military service to America.  We can honor those who fought for our freedom by serving the families they leave behind.  Additional information for Folds of Honor can be found at www.foldsofhonor.org.

Moose Run Golf Course located at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in the Anchorage metropolitan area, is a 36-hole military golf facility open to the public.  Moose Run Golf Facility consists of two courses, the Creek Course and the Hill Course. This is the only 36-hole facility in Alaska and one of the premier military golf operations in the world! Their facility has earned several awards including:

#2 in Alaska, Golf Week’s “Best Courses You Can Play” – (2016, Creek Course)

#5 in Alaska, Golf Week’s “Best Courses You Can Play” – (2016, Hill Course)

#4 in Alaska, Golf Digest’s “Best in State” – (2015, Hill Course)
