Resort

Our visit comes on the heels of a major renovation of rooms in 2018 and an impressive lobby and lounge renovation last winter. The resort is beautiful!

As in past years, extensions and upgrades are available. Contact our fantastic Hawaii event manager, Denise Taylor at dtaylor@pgahq.com and she will walk you through the options.

Golf

Golf on Maui is terrific. We will play the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed Royal Kaanapali and Arthur Jack Snyder designed Kaanapali Kai courses. Famous Hawaiian architect Robin Nelson updated both courses a few years back. You may not know Robin’s name, but he lists Mauna Lani – South among his many fine courses. For those of you who like to play a little extra golf, Kapalua is the next resort up the road, Wailea is on the other end of the island and the interesting Dunes at Maui Lani is always fun. Hop the ferry and go to Lani for the day if you want to go upscale.

There are a million activities on Maui. Lahaina Town is just down the road, the beaches are remarkable, an deep sea fishing and whale watching are always fun. If you don’t like to sleep, sunrise at the summit of Haleakala is breathtaking! You will have no trouble filling your days on Maui, and the memories with friends will be like a ray of sunshine through the winter.
