Pacific Northwest Section PGA Hires New CEO

Tumwater, WA: Frank Talarico has been selected by the Board of Directors as the fifth Chief Executive Officer of the Pacific Northwest Section PGA.  Talarico will take the helm of the Section beginning September 1st, 2020 following the retirement of Jeff Ellison, PGA after Jeff’s 30 years of service to the Section.

Mr. Talarico has an exemplary record in non-profit management.  He holds a Masters of Arts degree, Applied Communications from Cal-State Fullerton.  Mr. Talarico has held positions of President /CEO of Goodwill of Orange County, Chairman of the Southern California PGA Section Foundation and most recently Managing Partner of Talarico Advisors LLC.  Mr. Talarico also has served as the Executive Director of the Southern California PGA Foundation.

Mr. Talarico is a strategic leader who drives growth and innovation. He will lead the Section of 21 employees and more than 1,100 PGA Professionals.  He will begin his career on August 15th and officially take over September 1st.

The Pacific Northwest PGA Section is organized as a not-for-profit corporation and is one of 41 geographical regions of the Professional Golfers’ Association of America.  It includes the states of Washington, Oregon, and Alaska, as well as Northern Idaho and Western Montana.  It is the largest geographic section of the PGA of America.
