We are saddened to announce that Jon A. Peterson, PGA passed away on October 27, 2020. Jon Peterson was born July 14, 1939 in Portland, OR. After attending Oregon College of Education briefly, he turned professional and worked as an assistant at Coos Bay CC, Waverley CC and Portland GC. During those year, he won both the Oregon and Section Assistant Championships. He went on to become the head professional at Tualatin Country Club from 1971 to 1998. He was low professional in the 1973 Pay Less Classic and played on the 1973 Hudson Cup team.
