Both matches ended in a tie. What are your thoughts on that?

Great fun and a great competition. I was super proud of how our senior professionals fought back from a 0-5 deficit in the opening matches to get the tie!

Favorite Hudson Cup moment, past or present?

Going undefeated in my matches at Oakbrook years ago while playing with my good friends, Chris Mitchell and Ron Wells then hopping on a plane the next day with them to compete in the CPC in Florida.  Great memories.

Also, being Captain this year was a nice honor and I took the position seriously to try and help my longtime fellow pro’s out the best I could.

Both matches ended in a tie. What are your thoughts on that?

At the time I was not so excited to have the matches end in a tie but looking back on the event I believe it was a fitting end.  There was such great play from both sides and some great finishes from our Professionals and the Amateurs.

Favorite Hudson Cup moment?

I believe that would have to be watching the final match on the course finish on 18.  While Brian Thornton and Travis Milleman were coming up the fairway both teams were gathered around the green talking about their matches and where the teams stood.  It came down to that match and everyone was out supporting their respective side.  I love seeing that camaraderie and I honored to have been a part of it.
