John Yacobellis of Veneta, OR died on April 26 at age 81. John founded the Tucson Golf Academy in Arizona and The Sea Ranch School of Golf on California’s North Coast. He was also Director of Instruction at Lakewood Country Club in Denver. His administrative roles included Director of Golf at Angel Fire Resort in New Mexico and General Manager at Lake Padden GC in Bellingham, Washington. He was a member of the Pacific Northwest Section since 2016.
