Play one of Washington’s Most Desired Courses to Play

Indian Canyon was built in 1935 for $200,000.  H. Chandler Egan, a member of the PNGA Hall of Fame, crafted the Canyon’s layout over the well-treed hillside southwest of the Spokane River.

Indian Canyon hosted the 1941 and 1984 Public Links Championships.  When Bill Welch was victorious in 1941, he concluded “After I played Indian Canyon, I never wanted to go back to Texas again.  I never saw a golf course that beautiful in my whole life…. I did return to Texas, but only to pack my bags and move to Spokane.”

This municipal track has been annually rated among Golf Digest’s “Best Public Courses”, “Best Affordable Courses”, “Best Golf Courses You Can Play”, “Best in State” and taken individually, some holes rank with the best holes found on any course – public or private – in the region.  Indian Canyon’s lofty acclaim is well deserved.

The PNW PGA is excited to celebrate the 30th Rosauers Open Invitational and support the Vanessa Crisis Nursery!

Join the Ranks of Champions

The Rosauers Open Invitational has been a part of the PNW PGA tournament program since 1988.  This popular golf tournament is celebrating its 30 years and has returned to Indian Canyon GC, who hosted all but three years of this event.

The record for most Rosauers wins is held by Corey Prugh of Manito CC (2009, 2011 & 2013, 2015).  Other notable past champions are Jeff Coston (1997, 2006, and 2008), Tim Feenstra (2014), David Phay (2012), Ryan Benzel (2005), Casey McCoy (2001), Todd Erwin (2000), Bill Porter (1999), Rob Gibbons (1991) and Gary Lindeblad (1990). Will you add your name to a long list of amazing champions this July?

Last year, Amateur Derek Bayley of The Links GC won by eight strokes over PGA Professional Tony Robydek of Meadow Park GC.

After posting the lowest 18 hole score in a PNW PGA major last year with an astonishing 59, Bayley now holds the 54-hole tournament record at the Rosauers Open Invitational with a three-day total of 189, 27-under par at MeadowWood GC.  Will this new record be bested once again at the 30th Rosauers Open Invitational?
