Paul Andrew Colleran
After an incredibly hard fought, year-long, battle against brain cancer, Paul Andrew Colleran passed away on October 8, 2014. He was 54 years old.

Paul was born on January 20, 1960, the fourth of five boys, to Tom and Mireille Colleran in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in Bellevue and graduated from Interlake High School. Paul attended the University of Oregon and played on the golf team for two years. Taking a year off from school, he worked on the golf course maintenance crew at Broadmoor Golf Club. It was there that Paul realized he could become a golf course superintendent. After earning a Turf Grass degree at Oregon State University, Paul headed to the Monterey, California area to hone his craft. In 1989 Paul returned to the Northwest as the Golf Course Superintendent at Tacoma Country and Golf Club, and then in 1999 became the first and so far only Superintendent at The Members Club at Aldarra.

Paul loved being outdoors. Whether it was a round of golf, on the river fly fishing, snow skiing, or camping, as long as he was outside with family and friends he was happy.
Paul is survived by his wife Joan, sons Troy (14) and Bryce (13), his mother Mireille, brothers Tom (Renee), Tim (Beth), Peter (Raelyn), and John (Michelle), 20 nieces and nephews and two great nieces.  He was preceded in death by his father Tom.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Joan Colleran 529 College Savings Account, a scholarship fund for Paul’s sons and mailed to:
