Monte Koch is one of nine PGA Player Development Regional Managers (PDRM) and is based in the Pacific Northwest Section.  He is charged with helping professionals, their facilities and employers with implementation of strategies, initiatives and programming to expand the reach of golf among current and potential players

 

Bill Harmon: Teaching Seminar

October 23 @ Portland Metro Expo Center, 2:00 – 6:00 PM

  • Bill will discuss his approach to the game, demonstrate through “live lessons” and engage in a Q&A with those in attendance.

Bill Harmon has been an active member in the golf community for more than 50 years, having been introduced to the game by his father, Claude Harmon, 1948 Masters Champion. With his brothers Butch, Craig and Dick, the family has been awarded “The Golf Family of the Year” as well as the “Richardson Award” for lifetime contributions to the game of golf. Bill is the Director of Instruction at Toscana Country Club, Indian Wells, CA and President of the Harmon Experience Golf School. As the Founder and President of Harmon Recovery Foundation, he uses his lifetime experiences and his mutual relationships with other professionals to raise money in support of US veterans suffering from drug and alcohol dependency. Harmon has been named one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Instructor. He currently hosts the Golf Channel instructional show “On the Range”, also making regular appearances on Golf Channel ‘s “Morning Drive”.  Bill caddied for Jay Haas from 1978-1988 and has remained his coach to the present time. Additionally, Bill is teaching instructor to Bill Haas, John Merrick, Craig Stadler and LPGA player Nicole Castrale.
