PGA Golf Day: Ellison and Ables to play 100 holes

PGA golf day logo

Thanks to the support of Wildhorse Resort, Wildhorse Assistant Clint Ables and PNWPGA Executive Director Jeff Ellison will play 100 holes on Monday, August 1 in support of the Pacific Northwest Section’s PGA Golf Day initiative. The goal is to raise $5,000 for the Pacific Northwest PGA Junior Golf Fund and the Section’s PGA Golf Day Charities.

We encourage you to conduct your own Golf Day marathon! It’s extremely simple. Enlist support from your members, vendors, and friends to pledge support for your effort to play 100 holes (or you pick the number) and raise money for Northwest charities. A very professional web site has been developed to manage your involvement in PGA Golf Day: www.pgagolfday.com. You create a profile complete with a personal message and your photo. Donors can donate on the web site or hand you a check and you can enter them later. You can set up your page in less than five minutes.

We know your club schedules are full so if are unable to conduct your own donation drive, please support Clint and Jeff Ellison on Monday, August 1. We are asking you for a small donation toward our goal. To make your tax deductible donation, click here to visit Jeff’s PGA Golf Day Site. Just $0.25 per hole will help a great deal.

If you’d like to set up your own PGA Golf Day page and hold an event at your club, just visit www.pgagolfday.com to get started.

Our thanks to PGA Professional Mike Hegarty and Superintendent Sean Hoolehan for making this effort possible.
