Martin Wins Oregon Open Invitational

Amateur Reid Martin of Everett G&CC won the Oregon Open Invitational yesterday. The 19 year old came from behind and fired a six under par 66. Martin, a University of Central Florida student won by one stroke over amateur Alex Moore of Trysting Tree GC. Moore posted the low score of the day with a 65 to climb up the leaderboard to lone second.

Professional Brian Nosler of Dick’s Sporting Goods finished in a tie for third place with amateurs Tyler Simpson of Trysting Tree GC and Casey King of Tokatee GC.

Winning the best two of four team competition after 36 holes was PGA Professional Jeff Coston of Semiahmoo G&CC, PGA Professional Rob Gibbons of Arrowhead GC, amateur Jeff Neely and Jarett Foote.

Winning the 36 hole four-ball team competition was PGA Professional Rob Gibbons of Arrowhead GC with his amateur Jeff Neely.
