event was started in 1988 when a group of Spokane area
professionals realized their goal of bringing a
Pacific Northwest Section Major to town when they
developed a relationship with Rosauers Supermarkets.
The biggest winner at this championship is the
charity. Last year, a donation of $115,000
was given to the
Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery, over
$1.7 million
has been donated since the tournaments inception. |
