Haney Wins in Playoff in the 2000 Barrett Business
Services Senior Oregon Open

Klamath Falls, OR - Running Y Ranch Resort - 6,816 Par 72 - It took a birdie by Fred Haney on the second hole of sudden death to fight off Chuck Milne and claim victory in the Barrett Business Services Senior Oregon Open. Haney closed with a 2-under par 70, while Milne tied the day's low with a 69 to catch the steady Haney. Jim Wilkinson, a teaching professional from Langdon Farms in Aurora, OR, also shot 69 to move into third place. The spectacular Running Y Ranch golf course proved to be a challenging site, with only Haney, Milne, and Wilkinson completing the 54 holes under par. Low amateur for the tournament was James Kirkebo, from Fircrest GC in Tacoma, WA who edged Broadmoor GC's (Seattle) Jim Frost by a single stroke.
