David Porter, Pumpkin Ridge GC

Meet David Porter, Oregon Chapter PGA's 2008 Golf Professional of the Year. Porter is the A-1 (Head Golf Professional) at Pumpkin Ridge GC-Witch Hollow.

David does so much for our association, which is one of the many reasons he was named Golf Professional of the Year. He serves on the OPGA Board as our Secretary; he is a Committee Chairman and committee member at the chapter and section level (on many different committees); and participates in the majority of the tournaments and pro-am events.

David enjoys spending time with his family, loves to travel, and enjoys his job-especially his co-workers.

We are fortunate to have you in our chapter. Thank you for your time and efforts that you put forth towards our chapter and association.

1st Annual OPGA Shootout for
ALS Resarch

10 OPGA professionals kicked off MDA-ALS Awareness Month (May) at Creekside GC on April 30th.

Our professionals raised over $23,000  for ALS Research . Further, there was a $2,000 professional purse sponsored by Coca-Cola and all of the money was donated back to ALS!
