Results of Program

40 participants – 20 of whom had never touched a golf club before.

Revenue Generated: $1,600 for instructors, ~$500 in greens fees and cart fees, ~$300 in F&B, ~$1,000 in merch and apparel. Total - $3,400

Details of Program

  • 4 total clinics
  • $40 per player for four 45 minute clinics.
  • 1 instructor per 20 students = $800 per instructor for 3-5 hours of work including prep and cleanup.
  • Covers Putting/green reading, chipping/pitching, full swing, and on course etiquette, rules, and knowledge.
  • We use acronym CHEF, Club, Hands, Eyes, Feet.
  • Begin with putting and work into building an athlete. Focus on athletic movements and not golf swing mechanics to start.
  • Instructors play 1 or 2 holes and walk players through the whole process beginning with arrival at the facility. Talk here about uneven lies and odd shots on the golf course.

Recommendations

Suggest 1 instructor per 20 students and no more than $40 for four clinics. Any more may keep those that have never played away. Private lessons will be generated from this so even if participation is 20 players still worth the time. Possibility to add a fitting day for those that are interested as a 5th clinic or side registration.
