- Week 2 - full swing irons
- Week 3 - hybrids & chipping
- Week 4 - driving & putting
- Served wine and light appetizers each night
We used a Yamaha Player Development Grant to purchase a demo set of clubs and some Orange Whips to provide equipment to people participating in our Ladies Wine Clinics and Couples Wine Clinics. We wanted people to be able to attend and participate even if they didn’t have equipment.
Results of Program
Over 20 women each month from May through August for an hour long session on golf with wine and appetizers after golf - $130/month.
Total Revenue Generated: $8000, which included paying for food and range, balls at High Cedars.
Recommendations
Ladies enjoyed their night out. Many of them used it as their night away from the kids - they would show up early and leave late. There was a Wino Open hosted 2 times during the summer for $120/foursome where the ladies would form their own 4-some and play a scramble on the executive course. It sold out both times.
