Two from PNW Section PGA Join PGA LEAD Class of 2017-2018

Two PGA members from the Pacific Northwest Section have been selected for the 2017-2018 Class of PGA LEAD: Robyn Lorain and Quincy Heard. Robyn Lorain is the Director of Junior Golf at the Oregon Golf Association and Quincy Heard is CEO and founder of Summit Golf Foundation. They join 13 others from around the country, who will come together for the first time at next month’s PGA Show to kick off this two-year leadership development program.

Simultaneously, the 15 PGA members of the inaugural PGA LEAD Class of 2016-2017 will enter into their second year in the program. PNW PGA member Howie Pruitt is part of this inaugural class.

PGA LEAD was launched by the PGA of America and its National Diversity & Inclusion Committee in 2016 in an effort to identify, mentor and progress a dedicated group of PGA members from diverse backgrounds, who aspire to leadership roles within the Association, on a guided path.
